Today in C.R.E we talked about Peter Snell.Peter Snell won 5 gold medals 3 was from the Olympics and 2 was from the commonwealth games.If a thing is worth doing,it's worth doing well.Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart.What I'm good at is running.

Diveing in the pool

Yasmin couldn't dive  into the pool. She kept doing a big  and one of the boys was teases her. She was emnemeses.

Her mum was going to teach  her. Yasmin’s mum taught her how to dive and pretend that there were some thing on her feet. She did it! Yasmin is now going to participate in the swimming Carnival

The commonwealth games are also known as friendly games.It is a motley sport afaceless that happens every 4 years and is hosted in different countries around in 2010 the games were held in daily inanda.The next games are going to be held in 2018 gold coast Australia.

The life Education Caravan

Have you been to the Life Education caravan before? Every year we go there to learn about ways of keeping our bodies healthy and safe.Last week on Tuesday our class walked to the Life Education caravan for our session. Lynn was our teacher and she talked to us about how we can help our bodies grow.

We learned about five things one of them is drinking at least five or six cups of water.Everyday we need to sleep for eight hours or more every night it helps our bodies to grow.

I was so excited to see Harold because last year he came to Pt England school and he told us some songs before.I'm looking forward to learn about more bodies parts.I thought that Harold was just a giraffe but he was not a real giraffe.

This week we have been learning about length. To learn about kilometres, we used Google maps. We had to find out how many kilometres there are from Auckland to Wellington. The answer is:


I found out that there are 650 kilometres from Auckland to Taupo.

  This week we are learning about length for measurement.Today i made a paper plane to learn about length and show distance.I measured it using steps .I thought that it was going to fly 27 steps across the deck outside our class but it only flew 6 steps instead.
