Child Labour in India

 In India they have the largest number of child labours in the world and about 60 million children are thought to still be working as child labours. 70% of them work in agriculture, smaller of them work in construction and other industries. Recruiters go to really poor areas and they traffick children. 

In 1989, the United Nations adopted the convention of the rights of the children. The convention is split into 3 parts, the right to protect, the right to develop, and the right to participate. Child Labour has been around for generations and can be hard to eliminate, around the world people are working together to put an end to child labour. Ways that people do that is improving education for adults and children, community delevlopment, improving incomes and writing letters to the company and the governments about child labour.

Child labour is ruining our children's lives, and the children are missing out on opportunties to be able to learn properly, develop properly and losing their self - worth. If enough of people speak up about child labour then this would be an opprtunties that can but a stop to child labour for good. I think child labour is unfair for the children that are suffering because it hurts to see that these children are missing out the chance that they may never have. My thoughts on this is for people to speak up and put an end to child labour.!

What is a community?

This morning in class we have all been discussing about what is a community and what it is. Our teacher set us into groups of three or fours, we all had to make a google drawing explaining what we think a community is. Down below is a google drawing that me and my group have done together, it's explaining what a community means to us.

Prime minister care and respect praised

For the past few weeks, we have been learning about what had happen with the shooting in Christchurch. The news article New Zealand prime minister praised for response to mosque shooting, our New Zealand prime minister is being praised for being one of Donald Trump's antidote. Many other people have agreed Aderns response, she was basically symbolically wearing a hijab to show her respect towards other muslims. Basically our prime minister is changing the laws in New Zealand by planning on banning guns. This is actually important for the whole world to know because it could give most people and the government ideas for what they could do next.

Climate Changes

An island called Kiribati who are suffering from climate changes. On the 3rd of march 2014, huge giant waves full with seawater crashing against the island of Kiribati. The young students of Kiribati are learning how to deal with climate changes, many people are planting fresh vegetables, many others are studying the effecting of the climate changes. Climate changes is one of the most many reasons why people around the world migrate well not really migrating but they might want to move not closer to the ocean, or near the ocean.

Made in Taiwan

Over the past two weeks we have been doing an activity called Made in Taiwan, we got to watch the videos and write down some notes about the video. In the video there were two guys named Nathan & Oscar who travelled around the islands to find out where there clan parents came from. What was interesting about the video was about how they were studying the lapita patterns and designs.

Day 3: Awesome Animals, Activity 3: The WWF: World Wildlife Fund

If you hadn't known seals are the most endangered animals in the whole world. All seal's give birth in a lair that digs into and becomes a snow bank. If there are no snow bank for any pups then later on the pups would then have to born on open ice, so that would mean that predictors' might have a chance to eat the little cubs. So that would lead for the cubs to die then. WWF are doing there very best trying to help the seals to build them some snow banks for the help to keep the seals cubs safe. So that would mean that there would no predictors scrawling around hoping to find a baby cub.

Reason 1: The reason why I want to become a DOC is because so that I could visit different kind of amazing species to learn about them.
Reason 2: Another reason why I would like to become a DOC is so that I could help out animals that are in such great danger towards outside in the wildness.
Reason 3: Last reason is because so that I know what it would be like to become  DOC is to study what Animals feels and to know and let animals know that humans are not as bad as predators, and that I could learn to keep the circle of life.

Reason 1: The reason why I don't want to become a DOC is because I might get eaten in the wildness just if the animals don't trust me enough to look after them.
Reason 2: Another reason why I don't want like to become a DOC is because there are many bad predators out there in the wildness that might come straight at me and then attack.
Reason 3: Last reason is because I might want to go and like babysit animals that might try to eat me, and of course if I just wanted to touch a little baby cub I might as well probley get eaten already.

This is my beast, he is a mixed animal or should I say beast. The head is an angry gorilla, the whole body is well an pig of course and the tail is just a little pony's tail. This beast is a half Gorilla, Pig and a Pony.

First here is the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby Team. From there logo the All Blacks logo has a nice lighted fern, plus the fern on the all blacks logo represents the New Zealand Anthem. Which also represents there country. The all blacks uniforms are all just white and black, with also white and black sock. The best part I like about the uniform is the Fern.










Right here is the New Zealand Sliver Ferns Netball team. From there logo it is coloured with an amazing fern that curled a bit. The sliver ferns uniforms are all just white and black. The best part that I like about the uniform is the Fern.




Here is the New Zealand Black ferns Rugby Team. From the looks of the logo it is the it is similar with the All Blacks Rugby team. The black ferns uniforms are the same as always black and white. The best part I like about the uniform is the logo as always.
