Auckland Art Gallery

Have you been to the Auckland Art Gallery before?Well on Friday class 9 and 10 went to the Auckland Art Gallery to look at some art.Once we got on the bus we had to stick together.

Once we were at the Auckland Art Gallery we had to sit down on the ground.We went into groups with Mrs Lavakula,Miss Ouano and Mrs Jacobsen.Some of  class 9 was with Mrs Lavakula,Miss Ouano and Mrs Jacobsen.

First when we got into groups we started to go with of group teacher.When Miss Ouano and Mrs Lavakula went with there group it was just group four and Mrs jacobsen as well.

First we went to the lego and i  build a ladder that was nearly high as the towers.But i talked some of them off now Mrs Jacobsen said five more minutes before we go to the next activity.

My favorite part was when i build a ladder.I felt tired because i was playing some legos and my arm got tired as well.

Cross country 2014

On the 11th of september our School had Cross Country.We had house colours to be in.The house that i am in is Tanui which is ( Blue ).The School Cross Country was held on the School field.I felt nervous because it was going to be the year 4 girls turn.When the year 4 girls went to the starting line, we all had to stay in a line straight.Mr Burt said “On your maks, get set, go!!! Yelled Mr Burt.As i ran down the field were class 19 was.When i srated to sprit i got tried and then i started to jog.

As i ran through the gate i started to walk.I just forgotten that i said something to myself when i started to sprint .I just remembered that i said do not give up.When i saw the finish line i started to start pushing my legs as hard as i could to try to come 1st,2nd or 3nd.But i came 7th.When

to do some running again.

I didn’t enjoyed was that is was a long run and i had to walk and start to run again.

I hope i come 1st,2nd or 3nd next year when i am are year 5.

 “Go!”, yelled dad. He was yelling at the tv while watching the boxing during the Commonwealth games. He was watching very intensely. David Nyika looked strong BOOM his opponent was knocked to the ground. “Hooray!” we all shouted. David won gold and he is a champion. Wow i thought i want to be a boxer when i grow up.

My mum

Who is your special family member?Well i have one and her name is temple.She is my mum.We get some food to eat together and we like to play and go to my uncle’s house.I like to hang out in her gold car.She has 1 car there is one car and that is gold.I never seen her grey car before she said it was so Amazing that know one in my family that have not seen my mum’s car before.I love my mum she is the best mum ever.

Today in C.R.E we talked about Peter Snell.Peter Snell won 5 gold medals 3 was from the Olympics and 2 was from the commonwealth games.If a thing is worth doing,it's worth doing well.Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart.What I'm good at is running.

Yasmin couldn't dive  into the pool. She kept doing a big  and one of the boys was teases her. She was emnemeses.

Her mum was going to teach  her. Yasmin’s mum taught her how to dive and pretend that there were some thing on her feet. She did it! Yasmin is now going to participate in the swimming Carnival

The life Education Caravan

Have you been to the Life Education caravan before? Every year we go there to learn about ways of keeping our bodies healthy and safe.Last week on Tuesday our class walked to the Life Education caravan for our session. Lynn was our teacher and she talked to us about how we can help our bodies grow.

We learned about five things one of them is drinking at least five or six cups of water.Everyday we need to sleep for eight hours or more every night it helps our bodies to grow.

I was so excited to see Harold because last year he came to Pt England school and he told us some songs before.I'm looking forward to learn about more bodies parts.I thought that Harold was just a giraffe but he was not a real giraffe.
